Executive coaching is all about developing executive and high-potential senior leaders in to more effective and happier leaders moving the leader through a process of self-awareness to self-determination. Within that structure the conversations are highly tailored to meet the specific challenges and needs of the executive or the high potential.
The needs of executives, high-potentials and their organisation will be met through customised programs covering usually a 6-11 months period.
Unlike intelligence, social and emotional intelligence is something that every executive, every leader and every team member can learn. Using a proven 26 competency model, we integrate social & emotional intelligence in executive coaching, team building, or provide standalone training for individuals or groups.
We start with a social & emotional intelligence assessment followed by in-depth debriefing conversations to fast track learning, coaching or training.
Teams are established to address issues, to develop new products or to deliver projects. Any new team or any changed team will go through the 5 stages of team development. Team building facilitation is used to fast-track the team in to the performing stage. Simultaneously, we provide the team leader with the necessary tools and skills to support and to continue with developing his or her team.

After the diagnostics we know the reality of a person, a team, a project or an organisation and through discussions we establish where a person, a team, a project or an organisation wants to be the target. To achieve the target an activity plan will guide us towards the target. The details of this activity plan will vary from person to person, from team to team and from organisation to organisation.

Many organisations discontinue their training after it has been provided, significantly reducing the effectiveness of the change program. One of the reasons is that a person returns from training full of enthusiasm but confronted with an environment that has not changed yet. The person finds it too hard and gives up.
Training provides a person with ideas of what they could or should do. However, safety leadership and leadership in general is a personal approach, in particular if we talk about inspirational and transformational leadership. One approach to leadership might work for one person but not for another. Leadership is fundamentally based on trust. If a leader just applies a learned technique without internal conviction a follower will see through it and feel that they can not trust the leader.
